Homestead Foods Limited was created in 2019 by experienced food entrepreneur Ross MacKenzie, based on the previous business of B&H Foods Ltd., in Stonefields, Auckland.
Homestead Foods are committed to continued innovation and delivery of high-quality Contract Food Development and Manufacturing solutions, along with excellence in customer service.
The existing operation of B&H Foods with its core of experienced staff and extensive processing facilities has provided a base to build a new business focused on innovation and best practice food manufacturing processes.
Along with the production of an extensive range of foodservice sauces, dressings and syrups in traditional packaging styles, Homestead Foods capabilities have been extended with the addition of a hot fill pouch packing line with post pasteurization along with a range of portion control packaging equipment.

Ross is the owner and creator of Homestead Foods Ltd. Ross is well known in New Zealand for developing the ‘international success’ of iconic brands Aunt Betty’s and Alfa One Oils as Managing Director and founder of Hansell’s Food Group.
In setting up Homestead Foods Ltd., Ross has retained the existing operation of B&H Foods with its core of experienced staff and extensive processing facilities. The simple goal is to lift the quality and service offering already in place - by introducing his investment expertise and passion for excellence in ingredient-rich, exceptional quality food service solutions.
